Breast Enlargement (Augmentation Mammaplasty) is considered by women who wish to enhance the size and shape of their breasts. The procedure is done using implants which are positioned behind the breasts and inflated with saline solution. The duration of results is variable because implants may require removal or replacement.

Breast Enlargement is an outpatient surgery with preparations and procedure encompassing approximately 1 to 2 hours. General anesthesia is administered during the procedure. Temporary soreness, swelling, change in nipple sensation, bruising and sensitivity to stimulation should be expected.

Our patients are usually back to work in a few days, but need to avoid physical contact with the breasts for about a month. The scars will take several months to a year to completely fade.
