Old, Yet Young
With an activity like ballroom dancing, you want to look your best. I'd been working on losing weight and becoming more active after retiring, and when I first went to Dr. Lawler's cosmetic surgery Centre in 2001, I remember feeling fit and trim.

Trouble Areas
One of my main trouble areas was my mouth. I had developed a lot of lines around my lips, which gave me an aged, puckered appearance. Also, age had created tiny folds of skin at the corners of my lips, which collected moisture and often caused irritation.

Instead of my lips turning upward in a smile, they were always turned down. I tried several creams, but nothing worked.

The laser resurfacing, a 15-minute procedure, helped erase these lines, giving my mouth a fuller shape.

And the Results Are…
Phenomenal! Now I have great lips. When I put lipstick and lip gloss on, it's like I'm in my 40's. My facelift too has given me a jot of pride and joy.

A Great Staff
I was especially impressed by the people who work at the centre. They are professional and friendly, and the facilities are beautiful.

The professional skincare line they offer for post-operation maintenance is also a source of delight. It keeps my skin glowing and clean, the products don't cost as much as department store products, and are still more effective.

Seventy-three? Says Who?
And now, I love the fact that people never guess my age correctly. When I fill out my age in forms, people always look at me and say, "You don't look that old."

I've recommended Dr. Lawler to all my friends, and I'm happy to give my telephone number - as I've told people at the Centre - to anyone considering getting a procedure done. If someone did call, my advice would be: "Don't tell him what to do." I'd also tell them that it's worth every penny.

A Full Life
Surrounded by friends and family at my Melbourne Beach house, I continue to live an energetic and full life. My children are continually amazed at how young I look (I didn't tell them until after my facelift that I'd had surgery done, for fear that they would be worried).

I've just got so much extra fun out of this whole experience. I don't feel my age, I don't look my age. It's a blessing.
